چکیده
ABSTRACT Prohexadione calcium, a plant growth regulator, has been used on virginia market type peanut cultivars for many years to manage excessive vine and improve digging efficiency. calcium not widely runner due their slower habit sporadic yield response at the labeled rate until recent research showed lower use rates of prohexadione provided similar control enhanced response. Large plot experiments were conducted in Colquitt county Darrell Williams Research Farm Sun Belt Ag Expo quantify grade quality economics using 105 g a.i./ha six cultivars. was applied twice during growing season. The first application made when 50% or greater lateral vines from adjacent rows touching. A second each treatment 14d after application. Therefore, g/ha is warranted financial return concern.

Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) Omics and Biotechnology in China
Peanut is one of the most important crops in the world, both for vegetative oil and as a protein source. Biotechnology approaches provide promising ways to increase peanut productivity, either through improved seed quality or stress resistance. These approaches require the identification of genes that control important agronomical traits, the understanding of gene regulation and metabolic pathw...
متن کاملResponse of yield and some physiological traits in peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) to Zn and Ca nano chelates and their application methods
Peanut is one of the important legume crops and its grain rich in oil (47-53 %) and protein (25-36 %). Peanut has very high nutrient requirement, Hence, in order to evaluate the effects of Zn and Ca nano-chelates and their application methods on yield and some physiological traits in peanut, a field experiment carried out in 2016 cropping season as split plot arrangement based on randomized com...
متن کاملAnalysis of Seed Proteins in Groundnut Cultivars (Arachis hypogaea L.)
The seed protein contents and protein banding pattern were studied in commonly cultivated groundnut cultivars. The groundnut cultivars such as ICGV00351, TMV-7, CO-4,CO-6 and TG-374 were used for quantitative and qualitative analysis of seed proteins. The protein contents varied among the different varieties of groundnut. The maximum protein content was observed in CO-6 followed by CO-4, TMV-7,...
متن کاملTranscriptome profiling of peanut (Arachis hypogaea) gynophores in gravitropic response
Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) produces flowers aerially, but the fruit develops underground. This process is mediated by the gynophore, which always grows vertically downwards. The genetic basis underlying gravitropic bending of gynophores is not well understood. To identify genes related to gynophore gravitropism, gene expression profiles of gynophores cultured in vitro with tip pointing upward ...
متن کاملThe Proteins of the Peanut, Arachis Hypogaea.
The ravages of the boll weevil have made it unprofitable to grow cotton in various sections throughout the South. In many regions where the growing of cotton has been decreased, peanuts are now being grown as a supplementary crop. This has caused a large increase in the production of peanuts in the United States. A number of mills which in the past produced cottonseed oil are now using their pr...
